Peshawar : A badminton Cup started with the support of Regional Sports Office and District Administration peshawar. National Badminton Champion Murad Ali inaugurated the event.Regional Sports Officer Kashif Farhan, Secretary Badminton Association Amjad Khan, coaches of Directorate Sports Nadeem Khan, Hayat Khan and Bushra Khan were also present on the occasion. Kashif Farhan said that eight women’s and 12 men’s teams are participating in the tournament. The players are being given an opportunity to prepare for the upcoming Quaid-e-Azam Games. DC Peshawar Sarmad Salim Akram will give all the facilities being provided to the players in the light of the instructions of DG Sports Abdul Nasir. Trophy and 50 thousand rupees will be distributed among the winning players on the final.
