Peshawar police officers honoured for outstanding performance

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Dr Mian Saeed Ahmed awarded cash prizes and commendation certificates to police officers and personnel for their exemplary performance in crime prevention and investigation.
A grand ceremony in this connection was held at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines here on Saturday, said an official statement.
Officials from Peshawar Police, the Safe City Project, Ladies Police, City Traffic Police and Khyber district were recognised for their effective policing, professional tracing of serious cases and consistent follow-up.
On the occasion, a letter of appreciation was presented to AIG Gender Equality Anila Naz for her efforts in facilitating female police personnel at the Women Police Station, improving their working conditions and establishing a well-equipped daycare centre for their children. The SHO of the Women Police Station along with other female personnel also received awards for their services.
Among those honoured were DSP Town Arbab Naeem Haider, DSP Chamkani Muhammad Ashfaq Khan, SHO Town Uzair Khan, SHO Hayatabad Kamran Marwat, SHO Sarband Imran Khan, SHO Chamkani Ismat Khan, SHO Phandu Javed Marwat, SHO Shahpur Fawad Khan and SHO Shalman (Khyber) Zahidullah.
Several other officers, including OS Syed Shah Faisal, Sub-Inspectors Ajmer Shah, Saleh Muhammad and Akhtar Syed, ASIs Syed Naveed Rauf, Niqab Shah, Junaid Shahzad, Hameed Khan, Abdul Rehman and Aftab Sher, as well as Junior Clerk Rab Nawaz and Muhammad Hasnain, were also awarded.
Constables Irfan Khan, Adnan, Tauseef, Aitzaz, Wisal, Hidayat Khan, Amant Billah, Khalid Mahmood, Shaban, Ali Raza, Abu Bakr, Furqan, Saleh Muhammad, Jalil Khan and Muhammad Allah were likewise given cash prizes and certificates for their performance in solving serious cases.
Speaking at the ceremony, CCPO Dr Mian Saeed Ahmed said the system of reward and accountability would continue within the police department. He added that such initiatives were aimed at motivating officers and encouraging professionalism, integrity and dedication to duty.
