Meteorological Department issues alert of heavy rains in Punjab. Parks and Horticulture Authority Rawalpindi is taking special measures to protect plants and flowers planted in parks and green belts from damage caused by heavy rains. Necessary measures are also being taken regarding the care of plants in PHA nurseries. In this regard, PHA Rawalpindi workers are carrying out clean cleaning and horticulture work in parks and green belts across the city.
DG PHA Rawalpindi Ahmed Hassan Ranjha said that in view of the heavy rains, Special instructions have been given for the protection of flowers and plants planted in parks and green belts for decoration, beauty and promotion of lush environment.
Special steps are being taken to maintain the freshness of flowers and plants in parks and green belts during heavy rains, maintain cleanliness and eliminate standing water.
PHA Rawalpindi is ensuring the cleanliness of parks on a daily basis. Along with this, horticultural work is also being carried out to take care of plants and protect them from the effects of heavy rains. Special steps are also being taken to protect plants growing in nurseries.
