PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Wednesday while accepting the bail application of former MNA, Sibghat Ullah, ordered his release from jail. A two-member bench comprising Justice Sayyed Arshad Ali and Justice Dr Khursheed Iqbal was hearing the bail application case of former MNA from Dir, Sibghat Ullah. The former MNA’s advocate, Alam Khan Adenzai told the court that Sibghat Ullah was arrested from Dir on 5th August under 3-MPO and was still languishing in jail, The Assistant Attorney General told the court that the former MNA had delivered a speech at the party meeting, after which he was arrested under 3 MPO. The court in its remarks said delivering speech was not an offense and after squashing the former MNA’s arrest order under 3-MPO, ordered his release from the jail. APP
