After a prolonged legal battle, the Peshawar High Court ordered the eviction of Olympic Café from the premises adjacent to the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Coaching Centre Gymnasium Hall. The disputed hall and vacant land were vacated in the presence of court officials and police and handed over to the Centre’s Director, Muhammad Akram Bhatti.
According to details, the premises had been leased to Olympic Café in 2007, with the rental agreement extended until 2015. Once the lease expired, the PSB Coaching Centre administration issued a notice to vacate. However, instead of complying, the café management challenged the order in court.
The PSB pursued the case and secured favorable rulings first from the civil court and later from the Peshawar High Court. Meanwhile, the PSB also filed an eviction petition against Olympic Café in the court of the Peshawar Cantonment Board Rent Controller, which also decided in PSB’s favor.
Subsequently, the café management once again challenged the decision in the High Court. On July 11, 2025, the Peshawar High Court upheld the earlier rulings and directed immediate vacation of the premises.
Following the court’s decision, police and judicial staff ensured the enforcement of the order, officially handing over the disputed property to Director Muhammad Akram Bhatti.
PSB staff worked tirelessly from day to night to remove equipment and clean the premises. Director Bhatti expressed gratitude to the staff for their dedication and hard work in completing the process smoothly.
