Punjab Minister for Industries & Trade, Mian Aslam Iqbal has said that the plunderers of national wealth would have to face accountability process and to return the looted money of the poor nation.
He said, “People are facing countless problems due to the corruption and wrong policies of the previous governments. Destroyed economy, burden of debt, price-hike, poverty and unemployment are the result of their bad governance and corruption.”
The Provincial Minister expressed these views while talking to complainants and media during open court held at his camp office on Monday. He listened to the problems of people for more than three hours continuously and also issued spot orders for the redressal of their grievances. Most of the problems of people were related to Health, Education, WASA, Electricity and Sui Northern.
Speaking on the occasion, Mian Aslam said that there is a dire need of reforms in government departments and institutions, if these departments work properly than people will not need to come to members of assembly and provincial ministers for the resolution of their problems. He said that open courts help to solve peoples’ problems timely and this process will continue in future.
He said the purpose of holding such open courts is to provide relief to people at their doorstep. He said that PTI government will continue the journey of serving people and our doors are open for the masses.
Mian Aslam Iqbal has said that the looters of national exchequer have snatched the bread and butter of the children of poor nation; they deprived them of education, health and other basic amenities of life. Exhibitory projects of the former rulers proving white elephant for the national economy. They will have to face results of their corruption, he added.
