PM appreciates Pakistan Navy for foiling Hashish smuggling attempt

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif lauded the Pakistan Navy for successfully preventing a major narcotics smuggling attempt in the Arabian Sea. He stated that 1,500 kilograms of hashish, valued at approximately 3 million US dollars, had been seized during the operation. The Prime Minister said that Pakistan Navy Ship “YAMAMA” effectively intercepted and foiled the smuggling attempt, demonstrating exemplary professionalism and vigilance. The Prime Minister added that the Navy’s strict maritime surveillance and operational excellence would ensure the complete eradication of smuggling activities at sea. He further appreciated the Pakistan Navy’s proactive and commendable role in collaborative and coordinated maritime security efforts with regional and international partners. ONLINE
