Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the blast at Balochistan National Party (BNP) rally in Quetta. According to a press release issued by the Prime Minister Office, the Prime Minister expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives in the explosion and prayed for the swift recovery of the injured. The Prime Minister directed that the injured be provided with the best possible medical facilities. He instructed that those involved in the blast be identified as soon as possible and be brought to justice.
He said an attack on a political rally is clear evidence of the terrorists’ nefarious conspiracy to spread chaos in Balochistan. He said terrorists are enemies of peace and development in Balochistan. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm commitment in the fight against terrorism.
