PMC stages walk in solidarity with Palestinian people

PESHAWAR
Peshawar Medical College organized a walk to express solidarity with the Palestinian and honor the two-year-long struggle, sacrifices, and unwavering resilience of the Palestinian people.
The walk saw participation from senior faculty and a large number of students. Notable attendees included Prof. Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Swati, Director of Riphah International University, Peshawar Campus; Prof. Dr. Saeed Anwar, Executive Director; Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aman Khan, Principal, Peshawar Medical College; Prof. Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rehman, Dean, Peshawar Medical College; and Prof. Dr. Ayesha Abdullah, Vice Dean.
Participants carried banners and placards displaying messages of solidarity with Palestine, reflecting the academic community’s concern for the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rehman paid tribute to the courage and resilience of the Palestinian people.
He remarked, “Their steadfastness in the face of oppression and destruction is a timeless lesson for all of humanity, to stand up for justice, no matter the cost.”
The event concluded with a collective prayer for peace and justice in Palestine.
