Interior Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah has termed former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan as a fraudster.
The minister said that Khan is a watch thief but he used to publish fake news of corruption against Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. An apology from the British tabloid “Daily Mail” is proof that Khan was the mastermind of that propaganda.
He said that Khan used Daily Mail to blackmail Shahbaz, adding that Khan is unable to show his face to anyone after this humiliation. It has been proved that Khan is a liar, he said. He said that according to the constitution a liar and thief cannot become a leader. He suggested the PTI leaders should remove Khan from the seat of chairman and appoint any noble person.
On the other hand, former prime minister and PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that PTI chief Imran Khan is a liar. He said that an apology from the British publication “Daily Mail” has confirmed that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif was not involved in any corruption, adding that it has also revealed Khan’s propaganda.
He said that Khan labeled others as thieves to hide his robberies. He said religious scholars should give a statement on it whether a liar can be a leader. He said that Khan always claimed that he struggled for 22 years but, in reality, he just practiced the politics of lies and accusations.
Meanwhile, Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz said that he is grateful to Almighty Allah for emerging Premier Shahbaz Sharif as a glorified leader after an apology from the Daily Mail newspaper. He said that an exemplary punishment should be given to liars and character assassinators. He said that Khan and his party was the facilitator in that fake news story. He said that Premier Shahbaz had gotten clean chit from British Crime Agency in the past as well.
Hamza said that Khan use the tactics of hurling accusations at others to hide his corruption and foreign funding matters. He said that Khan and Shahzad Akbar raised questions about funds received for earthquake victims, adding that they also tried to halt donations for flood victims.
He said Khan, during his four years tenure, detained political rivalries in jail over fake cases. He said that Khan caused severe damage to the political, economical and social structure of the country.
