Sheikhupura.(Online): As many as 22 suspects including 10 Afghan nationals were apprehended during joint search operation of police and rangers in various areas of the city and recovered huge cache of weapons from their possession.
District Police Officer (DPO) SheikhupuraSarfraz Khan Virk said that rangers, security forces and police have conducted a joint operation in NarangMandi, Farooqabad and Muridkay and apprehended some 22 suspects including 10 Afghan nationals, who were residing in Pakistan illegally since long adding that cases have been registered against them under foreign act and started investigation.
On the other hands, the Farooqabad police have apprehended more 9 suspects.
Sheikhupura police sources said that search operation against suspects has geared up across the district to conclude the operation “Radd-ul-Fasaad” logically.
