Police, Army conduct joint operation in Hassan Khel

Capital City Police, in coordination with the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), conducted a successful intelligence-based joint operation against Fitna al-Khawarij in Hassan Khel area, officials said on Sunday.
The operation was directly supervised by CCPO Peshawar Dr Mian Saeed Ahmed, Commander 102 Brigade and SSP Operations Farhan Khan, while other senior and field officers remained present on site.
According to the police press release, coordinated strategy was adopted during the operation with effective use of drone surveillance, anti-drone systems, sniper guns and other modern technology to monitor suspected hideouts and ensure targeted action.
Personnel from Pakistan Army, police sniper shooters, EPC, Anti-Terrorism Squad, Elite Force, CTD and other special units of Peshawar Police took active part in the joint action.
Owing to integrated strategy, mutual coordination and professional expertise, several key objectives against Fitna al-Khawarij were successfully achieved, while the law and order situation in the area was stabilised.
During the operation, repair work on state infrastructure damaged in sabotage activities, particularly the gas heavy pipeline, was also completed promptly, restoring public facilities.
Capital City Police Peshawar, Pakistan Army, CTD and other security agencies reaffirmed their resolve to continue joint actions against anti-state elements to completely eliminate terrorism and protect lives and property of citizens.
