KOHAT
During the operation in the suburbs of Jarma, 12 suspects, including wanted proclaimed offender and drug dealers, were arrested and weapons and drugs were recovered from their possession.
According to details, given by the Kohat Police, as a result of the search operation at the targeted locations, 1 Kalashnikov, dozens of cartridges and 2.260 kg of hashish were recovered.
The intelligence-based operation was led by ASP Sadar Talha and SHO Jarma Fazal Muhammad.
A heavy contingent of police and elite force and female police officers participated in the operation which has been going on since the early hours of Sunday.
A proclaimed offender, drug dealers and suspects arrested in the operation were transferred to Jarma Police Station for investigation. Cases were registered under various provisions against the arrested accused including arms and drugs.
