In line with the vision of Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed, the Capital City Police Peshawar is continuing efforts for the welfare of police martyrs and veterans.
A grand ceremony was held at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines on Monday under the leadership of Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed. During the ceremony, financial assistance cheques worth Rs 50,000 each were distributed among the families of 150 martyred police personnel.
Addressing the gathering, CCPO Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed said that Peshawar Police is committed to the welfare of the families of martyrs and veterans. “Our martyrs sacrificed their lives for peace and the protection of the people. Their sacrifices will never be forgotten,” he said.
He added that, under the guidance of IGP Zulfiqar Hameed, all available resources are being utilized for the well-being of the families of martyrs and the Ghazis.
“The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police is a courageous force with a proud history of sacrifice and service,” the CCPO noted. “Our martyrs are our identity and our heroes, while the Ghazis are our pride who played a vital role in restoring peace.”
