Police fails to stop street crime in City

There was a sharp increase reported in street crime and the Police have failed to stop such criminals involved in snatching attempts and even sometimes start gun fire after committing the crime.
According to detail, the constant increase in street crime incidents in Peshawar witnessed as in very posh Gulbahar area, many citizens were deprived of mobile phones wherein two masked motorcyclists snatched the mobile phones from two citizens at the gunpoint and escaped. The eye witnesses told media men that soon after committing the crime the masked motorcyclists also started firing in the air that created more fear among the Peshawarites. “We could not hesitate in handing over our mobiles and other valuable things to the masked motorcyclists,” a victim of the incident said.
The citizens who were present on this occasion told media men that despite the blockades by the police at some points, the incidents of mobile snatching could not be reduced and the Police have just registered a “Roznamcha” report of the incident.
The citizens also appealed to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, IG Police to take stern action against unregistered, without number plates motorcyclists by launching an clean operation against such elements who are involved in daily snatching incidents reported in the City and and ensure protection to Peshawarites.
