PESHAWAR: A police constable was shot dead by an unknown assailant in Wazirabad area of Tank district on Tuesday. Police said constable Sharifuddin was in the city area of Tank when an unknown motorcyclist fired at him in Wazirabad, killing him on the spot. Police said the assailant managed to flee the scene after killing the constable. Body of the late constable was shifted to District Headquarter Hospital Tank for medico legal procedure. Tank city police have started an investigation after registering a case. APP
