PESHAWAR: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Secretary General, Muhammad Humayun Khan, paid rich tribute to the Mother of Democracy, Begum Nusrat Bhutto, on her death anniversary. He said that Begum Nusrat Bhutto dedicated her life to the cause of democracy, human rights, and public service. Her unwavering struggle against dictatorships, he added, remains a bright chapter in the nation’s political history. Humayun Khan described Begum Nusrat Bhutto as a symbol of courage, perseverance, and sacrifice, who never bowed her head before oppression and tyranny. He further stated that her mission is being carried forward under the leadership of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and that her role continues to serve as a beacon of light for women and youth across the country.
