PPP UK chapter observes 45th death anniversary of Z.A Bhutto

LONDON: The United Kingdom (UK) chapter leadership of Pakistan People Party (PPP) has observed 45th death anniversary of founder chairman and former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto at West London.

A statement issued here on Monday said that a large number of PPP supporters including the party UK president Mohsin Bari, Secretary General Azhar Iqbal, Vice President Shagufta Nasreen and PPP Greater London President Mian Saleem, Secretary General Raja Iftikhar, Vice President Amanat Ali Anjum.
Mr. Mushtaq Lashari CBE) and PPP America President Khalid Iqbal attended the event as chief guests.

Speakers on this occasion maintained that former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was deprived of justice, adding that the sacrifices made by the leadership of PPP would be remembered for long time.
The program was hosted as usual by Mr. Asad Nawaz Spokesperson People’s Party Greater London. Chaudhry Naveed, coordinator of People’s Party Digital Overseas, remembered Z.A Bhutto courage and bravery and struggle for the country.

Speakers on the occasion stated that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto took the reins of the country in a state of emergency, restored democracy, freed 93,000 prisoners, and ceded several hundred kilometers of territory to India.
Z.A Bhutto was the first leader who gave the country a constitution and reformed the overall economic outlook. He gave Pakistani workers access to the international labor market and restored public confidence in Pakistan’s armed forces.
On this occasion, a membership drive was launched and workers were invited to actively participate in it, and the organization’s new website was also launched.
The participants of the program also held Fateha prayers for PPP founder and country stability and security.
