Hygienic kits were given away to disabled,widows and poor segments of the tribal society in a function held here at Jansi camp,Sipah,subdivision Bara district Khyber last day.
The welfare activity was organized by the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS)merged districts chapter that was attended by forces and administration officials besides people from different walks of life.
Speaking on the occasion, officials of PRCS said that decades long militancy badly affected the lives of the dwellers of Bara and efforts would be made to assist the locals to resume their routine business of life. They assured that a variety of packages would be initiated to provide relief to the militancy-hit people of Bara.
Head of Khedmate Khalq foundation Shiekh Gl Afridi and councilors of the area thanked the PRCS for granting hygienic kits to the deserving ones and said it would certainly create awareness pertaining cleanness.
They demanded food and winter packages for the people of Bara. Prior to it, hygiene kits were distributed among the deserving people of the area.
