ISLAMABAD
President Asif Ali Zardari has signed CDA amendment bill 2025 on the advice of Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif. Notification of CDA Amendment Bill 2025 has been issued. This bill was approved on November 7, 2025 in Senate. National Assembly (NA) approved this bill on December 8, 2025 without any amendment.
Following the approval by president Asif Ali Zardari, CDA Amendment Bill 2025 has now become act of parliament, Under the amendment the compensation can not only be given in cash but also in the shape of land or other shapes.
Deputy commissioner will be authorized for awarding contract separately for land and buildings.
