A major hike is likely in prices of petroleum products from February 01. OGRA has finalized its working in regard to change in the prices. A summary in this regard will be forwarded to petroleum division tomorrow. As per media reports, the price of high speed diesel is likely to be enhanced by Rs 9.47 per liter and light diesel by Rs 6.95 per liter.
The price of kerosine oil is likely to be increased by Rs 3.69 per liter.
However price of petrol is likely to be slashed by paisas 36 per liter.
Petroleum division will issue notification regarding the new prices of petroleum products on January 31 in consultation with the Prime Minister.
