Mardan: District authorities in Mardan have raised serious concerns over an allegedly forged administrative approval, prompting calls for an immediate investigation into the matter. According to an official communication issued by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Finance and Planning, doubts have emerged regarding the authenticity of an administrative approval referenced in an earlier letter dated April 10, 2025. The letter pointed out that the signatures on the approval do not belong to either the Deputy Commissioner Mardan or the Additional Deputy Commissioner (F&P). It further noted that both officials were not posted in the district during August 2024, when the approval was reportedly issued. In light of these discrepancies, the communication declared the administrative approval to be “totally forged” and called for a thorough inquiry to ascertain facts and fix responsibility. Copies of the letter have been forwarded to senior officials, including the Commissioner Mardan Division and the Deputy Commissioner Mardan, for further action. ONLINE
