Proceedings have been initiated to declare KP Chief Minister (CM) Sohail Afridi, PTI leaders Junaid Akbar and Abdul Ghani Afridi proclaimed offender.
It has been disclosed in the report filed in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad police report has been filed in FIR case registered in Margalla police station in connection with November 26 incidents.
Reply to the notice due to non filing of challan in respect of accused Sohail Khan Afridi, Junaid Akbar and Abdul Ghani was submitted.
According to report, non- bailable arrest warrants of the accused persons were obtained , under June 23, 2026 court’s order. Non bailable arrest warrants of the accused persons could not be executed despite efforts. It has been said in the report the proclamation proceedings was started as per law due to non compliance of warrants.
Operations against Fitna al-Khawarij will be carried out to logical end: President

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have appreciated security forces for their successful operations against Fitna al-Khawarij in Bannu and its surrounding areas.
In a statement, the President reiterated that operations against the Indian-backed Fitna al-Khawarij and their facilitators will be carried out to their logical end.
Asif Ali Zardari said elements involved in targeting innocent civilians and law enforcement agencies deserve no leniency. He said the entire nation stands shoulder-to-shoulder with security forces and law enforcement agencies.
