Prof. Dr. Farid Ullah Khan has been awarded Gold Medal

Prof. Dr. Faridullah Khan, Professor University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar have been conferred with the prestigious “Quaid-e-Azam Gold Medal” by the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Foundation for rendering meritorious services in the field of research and education.
The event was organized by the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Foundation at the e-library Lahore in addition. In the ceremony, Quaid-e-Azam gold medals, Sitara-e-Pakistan Medals and awards were also awarded to 80 personalities who performed remarkable and valuable services in various fields of life including, education and teaching, medicine and social work.
Prof. Dr. Bashir Ahmed, Vice Chancellor Bacha Khan University Charsadda, Brig. Waheed-ul-Zaman Director Chughtai Lab Punjab, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Adnan, Vice Chancellor Government College University Lahore, Prof. Dr. Mazhar Rafi Head of Surgery Department Sheikh Zayed Hospital Rahimyar Khan and Zeeshan Bahadur Khan Chughtai, chairman of Istehkame-Pakistan Foundation were the guests of honour on this occasion.
This year, Prof. Dr. Farid Khan was also named among top 2% Scientists in the World by Stanford University and Elsevier.
He is the founding director of Sensor and energy harvesting systems research lab, an eminent academic expert and administrator. His field of expertise is energy, energy harvesting, renewable energy, mechatronics systems and machine health monitoring.
The Quaid-e-Azam Gold Medal award to Dr. Farid Ullah Khan is a significant achievement of the University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar as a whole.
It is a testimony to the high quality, cutting edge research being performed at the University and to the commitment of its researchers.
