ISLAMABAD: Former President and Co-Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday said ‘prosperous farmers can guarantee an agriculturally stable Pakistan’, adding that farmers are the backbone of the country’s economy. In a statement related to ‘Kisan march’ on Sunday, former president said it was very unfair that the farmers were not getting due reward of their hard work. “Farmers are not getting a fair price for the crops and is sheer economic exploitation” Zardari said. Asif Ali Zardari said that PPP will maintain the tradition of serving farmers and PPP will facilitate their access to the market.
