The protest organized by Marble Mines and Industries Development Association continues for the twelfth day. More than 4,000 factories across the province have been shut down while millions of workers have lost their jobs.

A press release issued by Muhammad Sajjad Khan, Chairman, Marble Mines and Industries Development Association, said that today is the twelfth day of Meda’s protest against government taxes across the province. Meanwhile, more than 4,000 marble factories in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are closed. As a result, millions of workers have become unemployed.
In which more than 400 factories have been closed in Mardan and more than 10,000 laborers have lost their jobs. Similarly, more than 50 mines have been closed in Mardan. Similarly, more than 700 factories have been closed in Buner and more than 15,000 workers have lost their jobs. In addition, all the mines in Buner have been closed. Similarly, due to closure of factories, mines and transport in Swat, Chakdara and Bajaur, thousands of people have lost their jobs. Similarly, lakhs of people have become unemployed in different districts of the province like Swabi, Bara Banda Risalpur, Marble City, Khatar, Parchave, Jahangira, Khairabad, Peshawar, Malaguri, Shafqadar, Subhan Khurd, Abbottabad and Mansehra. This could lead to the spread of corruption in the province. Therefore, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and all senior officials are strongly demanded. That all the laborers associated with the marble mines have become unemployed. Announce a government package for them.
