Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat on Saturday distributed certificate of appreciation and cash prizes among traffic staff for rendering excellent performance.
The ceremony was organized by the City Traffic Police Peshawar at Traffic Headquarters Gulbahar.
SP Headquarters Asif Bahadur, traffic officers and officials participated in the ceremony.
Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat distributed certificates of appreciation and cash among the personnel for better performance.
During the ceremony, Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat appreciated the performance of the traffic staff and said that the officers and personnel of City Traffic Police Peshawar should first perform their duties following the policy of Salam and then Kalam.
He said on the occasion that all officers and personnel should play their role with utmost diligence to create awareness among the citizens regarding the flow of traffic and road safety.
Abbas Majeed said that the process of accountability and appreciation would continue in the same manner.
Chief Traffic Officer directed the traffic officials and officials to continue uninterrupted operation against the parking and encroachment mafia.
He said that departmental action would be taken against those who showed negligence.
