ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Remote Sensing Satellite-1 (PRSS-1) China’s first optical remote sensing satellite sold to Pakistan, China Economic Net reported on Friday. China successfully launched PPRSS-1 aboard a Kuaizhou-1A (KZ-1A) carrier rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, located in Sichuan Province. The satellite was launched at 10:00 a.m. (Beijing Time) on Thursday. It entered its preset orbit successfully. The mission marked the 29th flight of the Kuaizhou-1A model. Gohar briefs Australian envoy about political situation
ISLAMABAD: Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar held a meeting with Australian High Commissioner Neil Hawkins in Islamabad. The two discussed in detail the evolving political situation in the country. Barrister Gohar apprised the High Commissioner of PTI’s struggle for the restoration of the Constitution, rule of law, and protection of fundamental rights. He also expressed concerns over the independence of the judiciary following the 26th Constitutional Amendment.
