ISLAMABAD
PTI has demanded for early decision on the petitions filed against 26th constitutional amendment.
PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said it is imperative to take steps for rule of law and constitution in the country.
Umar Ayoub Khan said guerilla war is continuing on borders of KP and Balochistan. Tell us how so much jawans and officers are bring martyred ..
They said this while addressing a press conference here Monday.
Gohar Ali Khan said people had given heavy mandate on February 8 to us but it was changed overnight.
We voiced protest several times and filed petition and demanded commission be formed. But neither commission was formed nor judiciary took notice. Election commission was equal partner in this work.
Our 74 petitions have not been decided so far, he remarked. We demand our mandate be returned to us.
This government of fake mandate approved 26th constitutional amendment and due to it 3 judges were appointed in Balochistan High Court. 6 permanent judges and one acting judge were made. But our petition has not been decided so far.
It is principled stance of PTI that those judges should decide the case against 26th constitutional amendment who were there before approval of this amendment.
Talks with government could not move ahead because government escaped.
PTI founder expressed his sentiments before army chief through some letters but no action was taken on these letters.
We will talk about it in national assembly and senate. Pushing voters and supporter of such larger party to wall will be harmful.
