PTI founder has filed review petition in Islamabad High Court (IHC) with reference to facilities in jail
Faisal Farid Chaudhry counsel for PTI founder filed review petition in the court.
The petitioner has taken plea in the petition that special judge central court Shahrukh Arjumand issued order on January 10 with regard to jail facilities.
Facilities are not being provided in jail despite being high profile prisoner. The attitude of jail authorities is against constitution and law. Facilities be provided as per law.
The petition said the court should issue order to stop misuse of order of trial court besides meeting the norms of justice as per law and constitution. Directives be issued to ensure conversation of the petitioner with his children by telephone every week. Books, daily news papers including Express Tribune and second English news paper be provided to him to read.
Directives be issued to ensure weekly meetings of the petitioner with his lawyers and family members as per his privilege under prison act and Pakistan Jail Rules-1978.
