ISLAMABAD
District and Sessions Court Islamabad has acquitted Azam Swati in the case of violation of section 144 in 2014 Dharna. Civil magistrate Murid Abbas had reserved judgment after arguments. Sohail Khan and Sardar Masroof Khan counsels for Azam Swati appeared in the court. They completed their arguments on acquittal pleas. Counsel Sohail Khan read out text of FIR. The counsel said this is case of 2014 and there is no evidence on record after this FIR. No allegation has been leveled against my client formally in FIR.
. What clauses have been included don’t apply to my client in any way. It is my requested to acquit my client from the case.
Counsel Sardar Masroof said prosecution has failed in providing any evidence so far.
It is pertinent to mention here case for violation of section 144 is registered against Azam Swati in police station Margalla.
Talking to media men outside district complex before judgment, Azam Swati said PTI founder has consented to hold talks for coming generation. Some progress will be made in this or next week in this regard.
It is our endeavor to connect all the institutions and end hatred. We all have to think about Pakistan in this situation.
PTI founder thinking is thinking of Pakistan and no one can make him minus. He rules hearts of people and every child loves him.
