Mardan: Ruling party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday announced Lakhkar Khan as its candidate for Mayorship in coming Local body polls. According to details, Kaleemullah, who had also submitted the nomination paper before party panel decided to contest elections in ‘independent category’. Well-placed sources added that more than six candidates had submitted nomination papers for the post. Sources added that Lakhar Khan is affiliated with Atif Khan group and hence was allotted with ticket. Other candidates withdrew their nomination papers however Kaleemullah Toru decided to contest the mayor election as an independent candidate. Our Correspondent
