Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Higher Education, Archives, and Libraries, Meena Khan Afridi, has resigned from his position as the central president of the Insaf Youth Wing.
“I am resigning on the instructions of the founding chairman, Imran Khan,” Afridi stated.
He emphasized that, as per directives, a government official cannot hold a party position.
Expressing gratitude, Afridi said, “As the central president of the Insaf Youth Wing, I am thankful to all party workers who supported me.”
It is pertinent to mention here that PTI founder Imran Khan has instructed party member holding government roles to step down from their positions within the party.
The directive, conveyed by PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja, is intended to grant Junaid Akbar, the newly appointed president of PTI’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter, full authority to reorganize the party.
