PTI-P inaugurates secretariat in Peshawar

Core committee named Pervaz Khattak chairman, Mahmood Khan as vice-chairman of the party
PESHAWAR
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Parliamentarians (PTI-P) on Tuesday formally inaugurated its party secretariat in Peshawar and announced the names of office bearers for the party.
PTI-P also hoisted the party flag and announced a schedule for public meetings across the province in connection with upcoming general elections.
A meeting in this connection was held under the chairmanship of former Chief Minister Pervez Khattak in which former Chief Minister Mehmood Khan, former MNA Shaukat Ali, former Provincial Minister Iqbal Wazir, former advisor Ziaullah Bangash and other former members participated.
The Core Committee of the party nominated Pervaz Khattak as chairman and former chief minister Mahmood Khan as vice-chairman of the PTI-P.
Ziaullah Khan Bangash was nominated as Information Secretary of the party.
Addressing the meeting, PTI-P vice chairman Mehmood Khan said that the door of its party is open for all people who wish to join us, adding that peace and prosperity of the province was the desire of all members of the party.
PTI-P Chairman Pervez Khattak announced that its party has decided to field their candidates from all constituencies of the province in the upcoming elections.
PTI-P would hold its first power show in Nowshera August 19, he added and said that its party will hold public rallies in Mansehra, Kohat, Dera Ismail Khan, Swat, Kohistan, Hangu, Peshawar, Mardan, Buner, Abbottabad.
