ISLAMABAD
PTI has become prepared to end boycott of parliamentary and standing committees. According to sources majority members of PTI parliamentary party has supported to return to standing committees.
Indication has been given to National Assembly (NA) secretariat to end the boycott.
According to NA sources PTI has informed the important authorities in this regard.,
Sources said the PTI members are of the view they would be able to hold accountable government and government institutions in better way by returning to standing committees. PTI is holding chairmanship of 7 standing committees of NA. However NA speaker has not accepted resignation of chairman of any one committee among them. The committees are being run through interim set up at present.
As per sources chairman PTI Barrister Gohar Ali Khan too is supporter for returning to NA committees.
Parliamentary party has sent its decision to core committee. All the seven chairmen too are supporting it.
