The foundation day of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was celebrated all over the country, including the Peshawar region, where the party workers reiterated their loyalty to the leadership.
Speaking to the media, Peshawar regional information secretary Engineer Adil Nawaz said that during the last thirty years, PTI had introduced a new paradigm of politics in the country and made the masses aware of speaking up against corruption.
“It has been fighting for transparency, meritocracy, and the supremacy of the rule of law,” he added. He said that under the leadership of the party’s founder, Imran Khan, PTI had further strengthened the vision of public welfare and national sovereignty. Despite difficult times, the party workers have shown steadfastness and determination towards the ideology.
Adil Nawaz said that the seed sown thirty years ago has now become a robust and thriving tree, which has taken deep roots among the people. He pledged that the party will continue to fight for the cause of real democracy, justice, and public welfare.
He said that today, the party’s founder, Imran Khan, and other leaders have gone into prison on behalf of the nation. He said that they should continue to fight the cause, and he is hopeful that the day would not be long when the founder Imran Khan would join them once again.
