PESHAWAR: The PTI call for a shutter-down and wheel-jam strike in Lower Dir proved unsuccessful, as all major and minor markets remained open and normal business activities continued throughout the district on Sunday. According to reports, PTI had announced a complete shutdown strike on February 8, but the situation in areas including Chakdara and all markets of Tehsil Adinzai remained normal. Shops and commercial centers were fully open and routine trade activities were observed. Traffic on main roads also continued as usual, with vehicles moving freely. Markets in district headquarters Timergara, as well as Talash, Khal, Kamanba and Maidan areas also remained open. APP
