To pay tribute to police personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty, a rally was organized from the police station, Jamrud to the historic Bab-e-Khyber in connection with the Police Martyrs’ Day (August 5) on Tuesday.
The rally was led by police officers and attended by a large number of elders from the Kuki Khel tribe and relatives of the Martyred police officials.
The Participants while carrying banners inscribed with various slogans paying homage to the fallen police personnel.
Speaking on the occasion, Kuki Khel tribal elders and other participants appreciated the valuable sacrifices and dedicated services of police, rendered for the country’s peace and security.
They reaffirmed their commitment to remember the sacrifices of Police Martyrs, stating that the brave officers who laid down their lives for the restoring of law and order would always be honored and their services would be remembered with great respect.
The rally concluded with special prayers for the eternal peace of the police martyrs, the security and prosperity of Pakistan, and for lasting peace across the country.
