Reforms are essential to alter the outdated system: Faiq

Muhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party expressed grave concern over the performance of the incumbent government, saying that rulers have committed murder of people’ hopes.
Shah said rulers have completely failed to provide relief to masses.
He added that the right to live has been snatched from people.
The party leader said the dynastic politics has served only personal interests and brought division, hate and destruction in the country.
Shah called the present government a sequel of the previous regime, which is only focused to align crippled economy with foreign aid and loans.
He said real public’ issues have been put into the backburner in the fight for gaining power and distribution of high positions among cronies.
Besides, he added no step was taken to arrest economic slide and control over inflation.
On the other hand, he said political discord and economic chaos further worsened the situation.
The ATP chief said the poor are becoming poorest and the rich are becoming richer, making clear that no change would come under the prevalent tyrant system.
Talking to reporters here on Sunday, the party chief said reforms must be introduced to bring change in this outdated system.
He said a joint forum is the solution to all issues for which his party has already given proposals.
We are ready to provide assistance to the government, institutions and relevant stakeholders to put the economy on track and resolve public issues on priority basis.
The ATP leader asked the rulers and politicians to think above their personal interests and work together for people and country betterment.
He said rulers did nothing but only wasted time in political point scoring, leg pulling, targeting rivals, survival in politics and shielding personal interests.
Furthermore, he said the government needed to shun the policy of erasing the poor and take pragmatic steps for social and economic uplift of ordinary citizens.
