During the altercation, Shinwari claimed that officials confiscated his mobile phone and other personal belongings before taking them to the Tehsil office in Landikotal. He saud the incident stems from an ongoing land dispute that has persisted since the FCR era.
Shinwari said the dispute has been already challenged in the Fata Tribunal, which has issued a stay order on the matter and hearing was also scheduled on October 29.
Shinwari expressed frustration over the continuous harassment from officials, despite the legal stay order, and emphasized that police and civil administration officials should refrain from any illegal action or undue pressure until the case is resolved. He appealed to high-ranking officials, including the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, to take action against those involved in the incident and to ensure the safety and protection of his family.
When contacted Landikotal addtional station house officer Azmat Wali Shinwari rejected the allegations and said that police on court order went to Shekhmalkhel village to implement the judgement. He said FIR is also registered Asghar Khan as he did not obey court order.
