The district administration on Tuesday announced that residents of four more villages in Tehsil Mamund, affected by the recent security operation, have been allowed to return to their homes.
According to a press release issued by the district administration, security forces have successfully cleared the areas of Damma Dola, Inam Khoro Chenagay, and Mato Chenagay. The statement said that the situation in these villages had returned to normal, and full writ of the state had been restored. The administration expressed gratitude for the patience and sacrifices of the local residents and assured that their return will be carried out in a dignified, safe, and orderly manner. Affected families are permitted to return along with their household belongings and resume normal life. Full protection and necessary assistance will be provided by the state. Officials stated that the return process for residents of remaining areas will continue in phases, subject to clearance and security assessments. Additionally, residents of Gang in Tehsil Salarzai and Shenkot in Tehsil Khar, who had voluntarily relocated, have also been advised to return to their homes. The district administration reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the early and safe rehabilitation of all displaced families.
