PESHAWAR: Muhammad Zahir Khan, a resident of Peshawar and a retired employee of the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, had been awaiting payment of his farewell grant for the past three years after retirement. In this regard, he approached the Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat Regional Office Peshawar against the Federal Employees Benevolent Fund (FEB) and Group Insurance Fund (GIF). Taking prompt notice of the complaint, the Regional Office initiated proceedings and took up the matter with the concerned department. As a result of the timely intervention of the Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat Regional Office Peshawar, the complainant’s farewell grant was released. The inquiry into the matter was conducted by Assistant Advisor Ms. Anjum Bibi, while implementation was ensured by Deputy Advisor Muhammad Alamzaib. DLP Report
