PESHAWAR: The government on Wednesday notified revised office timings in observance of the holy month of Ramazan. A notification issued here said that with effect from the first day of Ramazan, office timings from Monday to Thursday will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. while on Fridays the office will remain open from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. These revised timings will remain in force throughout the month of Ramazan, and normal office hours will resume after Eid-ul-Fitr. The notification advised all employees to adhere strictly to the updated schedule and maintain professionalism and discipline during working hours in the holy month of Ramazan. APP
Hearing of different cases in respect of PTI founder adjourned for indefinite period in SC
ISLAMABAD: Hearing of different cases against PTI founder has been adjourned for indefinite period in Supreme Court (SC). SC issued notice to Election Commission on appeal plea by PTI founder for suspension of Toshakhana decision. The court gave time to prosecutor to file detailed decision on government appeal against acquittal of PTI founder and Shah Mehmood Qureshi in cipher case. Notices were issued to the respondents on PTI founder appeal pleas against Shehbaz Sharif in defamation case. Punjab government withdrew appeal pleas against approval of bail plea of PTI founder and Bushra Bibi in 3 cases of land. The court rejected plea of counsel Latif Khosa for meeting with PTI founder. Justice Hashim Kakar remarked we cannot issue such order in criminal case. Suo motu powers have remained no more with us. ONLINE
