PESHAWAR
District Government Wednesday released Rs9.2 million for the victim families of cylinder blast in Dir colony and natural calamities in district Peshawar.
District Nazim Muhammad Asim Khan issued compensation within 48 hours for the families of 24 killed and 14 injured persons.
A meeting in this regard held under the presidentship of Muhammad Asim Khan which was attended by Assistant Commissioner Sara Rehman, SSP Headquarter Abdus Salam Khalid, Incharge DDMU Hasib Rehman, Tehsildar Humayoon and others.
In in the meeting it was decided that Rs3 would be paid per killed while one lac would be paid to per injured of the incident.
Ban imposed on using of CNG cylinder in hotel and tandoor to save the precious lives.
The meeting appreciated the role of Hasib Rehman for timely payment to the victims of the incidents.
