RTS commission chief reviews implementation of public service delivery

PESHAWAR: Chief Commissioner of the Right to Public Services (RTS) Commission, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Ali Shahazada undertook an official visit to Kohat, Karak and Dera Ismail Khan to review the implementation of the Right to Public Services Act and promote awareness of its provisions. During the visit, the chief commissioner held separate meetings with the deputy commissioners, heads of district administrations and senior officers of various government departments. Discussions focused on improving the delivery of public services, ensuring transparency and accountability, and strengthening compliance with the provisions of the Right to Public Services Act. Mr Shahazada briefed departmental heads on their legal obligations under the Act and directed them to ensure that all notified public services were provided to citizens within the prescribed timelines. He said effective implementation of the law was essential to ensuring that people received quality, timely and dignified public services. Officials of the district administrations and the relevant departments appreciated the commission’s awareness initiative and reaffirmed their commitment to implementing the Act in letter and spirit.
