The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet on Wednesday to receive and examine evidence regarding the sighting of the new crescent.
According to an official announcement, the meeting will begin at 4pm and continue until late night at the conference room of the Department of Auqaf, Hajj, Religious and Minority Affairs, located at Central Eidgah on Charsadda Road.
Citizens have been requested to provide evidence of moon sighting either by appearing in person at the meeting venue or by contacting the committee at 091-9210203.
The provincial government urged all concerned individuals to ensure timely communication to facilitate the crescent sighting process.
