PESHAWAR: Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, the President of Pakistan Muslim League and former Prime Minister, has appointed Safdar Khan Baghi as the General Secretary of the party for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to a notification, “The President, Pakistan Muslim League, Chaudhry Shujat Hussain has been pleased to appoint Mr. Safdar Khan Bagi as General Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of Pakistan Muslim League, with immediate effect.” Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain expressed the hope that with this new responsibility, Safdar Khan Baghi will serve the party in a better way than in the past. Safdar Khan Baghi was previously the secretary of Pakistan Muslim League KP. He was elected unopposed as Nazim Nauthia after the martyrdom of his elder brother Asif Khan Baghi. DLP Report
