Zakhakhel residents protest lack of staff in Schools

Residents of Bazaar Zakakhail and Alacha residents on Tuesday staged a protest demonstration in Landikotal bazaar against the Government Primary School Sher Rahman Killi’s unresolved staffing issue, highlighting the severe impact on local students’ education.
The protesters were holding black flags and banners inscribed with slogans agsinst the corruption in education department. They gathered outside of a state-ru school in bazaar Zakhakhel
The protesters were demanding teaching staff at the Government Primary School Sher Rahman Kalay despite being upgraded to Middle school in 2013. They said the institution has remained without teaching staff for over a decade.
Haji Fateh Gul Afridi, Chairman of VC-13, and councilor Mosam Gul Afridi addressed the crowd, emphasizing that students of their villages compelled to travel up to 15 kilometers to reach the nearest middle school, posing significant challenges.
The protest was attended by a laege nimber of students,elders and social workers who chanted slogans for their rights. They said due to the poor interest of the education deparent officials their frustration increased as their problems couldn’t resolved despite repeated appeals to higher authorities in Peshawar and Islamabad.
The demonstrators criticized the government’s inaction, asserting that the continued neglect deprives hundreds of children of their right to education and could lead to detrimental consequences if unresolved.
They urged immediate intervention of local administration and civil societye
to address the staffing shortage and ensure educational opportunities for all students in their community.
