Lahore (Online): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senior leader & Former Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has called on the 15 parliamentarians of Brussels and London to highlight the longstanding Kashmir issue.
According to statement issued by PTI- UK chapter, Former Governor Punjab Chaudhry also met non-governmental organizations, civil society members and others in Brussels and London.
During the meeting, the PTI leader also showed videos and pictures of Indian atrocities and demanded solution according to UN general assembly resolutions.
He urged the world community to take lead in stoppage of Indian aggression and atrocities in the country.
The statement added that former Governor Punjab Mohammad Sarwar also called on the Lord Nazir Ahmed, and former PM AJK Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry in London, while met Afzal Khan, Drevid Martin, Brand Kolmel, Hans Olaf, Robert Zoon, and Jorran Don and others in Brussels. He also presented pictures and videos of Indian aggression in Kashmir.
The PTI’s leader said that every eye is grieved on Indian aggression and killing of innocent citizens, but silence of International community is condemnable. EU parliament has always played an important role in ensuring human rights enactment in world.
“I have just come to meet European Union (EU) parliament on this crucial issue because I had to present proof of Indian aggression and convince them to play important role in deteriorating situation of human rights in Kashmir”, he added and maintained that if India thinks that it will get objectives by harassing and murdering innocent Kashmiris then it would be its misconception.
Lord Nazir Ahmed said,India cannot suppress voice of Kashmiri people by assassinating people like Burhan Wani. India should stop violence and seek solution according to resolutions of United Nations General Assembly.
Former PM AJK Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry said that struggle of people of Kashmir for freedom is unprecedented in the globe adding that India cannot abduct right of self determination of Kashmir for long time.
