Islamabad: Nasir Mehmood Satti has been promoted to Deputy Inspector General (DIG) NH&MP.
The Inspector General Shaukat Hayat and DIG Ghulam Rasul Zahid pinned the batches of promotion to the newly promoted DIG Nasir Mehmood Satti.
Nasir Mehmood Satti has been transferred from Islamabad to Karachi, who assumed the charge of the Zonal Commander of N-5 south Zone, he is a notable police officer and previously he was serving as AIG establishment, NH&MP Islamabad.
Zonal Commander N-5 south said that the National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) are committed to serving the commuters and the NH&MP staff is continuously making efforts to ensure safe journey for all road users and provide timely help and support to commuters. Furthermore, the arrangements will be made on national highway N-5 south zone to distribute printed material regarding road safety measures among commuters.
Audio-visual aids and other communication methods will be used by guidance centre and mobile education units to educate people about road safety measures. Mobile Education Units of N-5 south will educate the people of all ages belonging to different walks of life.
MEUs will be assigned specific locations as per their area of jurisdiction. He said that we have to work with more enthusiasm to enhance credibility level of NH&MP at national & international level.
